A letter to my future self
Dear future self,
It's your 15 year old self speaking. Hey boy. I really hope that you have your shit together and that you are happy. If you are not, know that it's okay. So, there are a few things I want for you. First of all, I want you to keep around the people who genuinely love you because your teenage self is mature enough to know that there is only a handful of them. I want you to keep the positivity and the authenticity you had as a child. I want you to remember what you have learned in this school, but especially your morals. Be generous, be kind, be loving, please keep being sarcastic with the people who get you and never lose your passion, your excitement, your thirst for fun! Keep your childish self alive. I really hope that you have finally stopped procrastinating, although let's be honest, that is unlikely.(This is the part where you laugh). Now, in case you are not happy with your life (although I am gonna try really hard to prevent that from happening), I want you to remember that it's okay. I don't want you to give up. You are smart, loving and you can do anything you wish if you set your mind to it. You have so many things to offer this world. That is why I want you to never stop trying to cause positive change. Please remember that your 15 year old self loves you and looks up to you. Make me proud.
